A year and a half ago, I started writing a book I was convinced no one would ever read. Today, that book is live on Amazon and available to read with Kindle Unlimited, and I still don't quite believe it.
Honestly, this day feels surreal. Just last year, I was sitting at my computer, throwing together what started as a rather chaotic idea about a mafia don’s daughter being sent into the aristocratic world of secret societies. Somehow, that idea became a story, then a manuscript, and now a real book with my name on the cover.
Bad Apple is a slow-burn dark academia romance following Poppy De Luca, the daughter of one of London’s most feared mafia bosses. After a rival gang shoots up her family’s tattoo parlour, Poppy is sent to Blackwood University in America, where she plans to uncover the one secret that could buy her way home, and finds much more than she bargained for.
I’ve also put together a playlist on the book page featuring the songs I listened to on repeat while writing, and I think it encapsulates Poppy and Sebastian perfectly.
